Academy of Traditional Armenian Music, Song, and Dance
Arts in Harmony with Ancient Traditions
This is the Academy of Traditional Armenian Music and Dance, founded in 2011 by Levon Chatikyan. This academy is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the rich Armenian heritage. Created as part of the France-Ashtarak-Armenia association, it benefited from the valuable support of the Markarian family, Alexandre Siranosian, and Eduard Poghosian, strengthening cultural ties between Armenia and France.
In 2014, the music academy reached a key milestone by signing a partnership with the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Département Valence Romans Agglo, marking the birth of the Franco-Armenian Academy. This project encourages artistic cooperation and a multicultural framework where Armenian dance and Armenian music shine.

Testimonials
My classmates and I are motivated to get up every day to dance, to touch people's hearts with our rich Armenian culture.
Hello, my name is Louna, I'm 14 years old. I've been dancing for 10 years now, since I was 4. It's very important because we maintain our Armenian roots. It's also a hobby. Every year we hold galas featuring a few dances throughout the year, and at the end of the year we perform all the dances we've learned over the past year, and so on.
